Yes…its the return of the Red Arrows Airshow.
On Saturday 30th September the Royal Airforce will put on a show where you can expect plenty of aerobatics stunts to entertain the whole family. The show is expected to start at 4:00pm with the jets performing a display over the Corniche.
Adding a local twist this year the Red Arrows will also fly in formation with a Qatar Airways Airbus A350 – expect detailed coverage from Qatar Airways.
Earlier in the day the Red Arrows will do a flyby over key landmarks in Qatar including The Pearl, Aspire, HIA and Res Laffan, This is expected between 11:40am and 12:05pm on Saturday.
If you want a great spot then head to any location on the Corniche and you should have a great view of the show. But plan ahead as it may get busy, and expect some traffic.

On Saturday the Festival is open from 11:00am and closes at 11:00pm (open from 4:00pm on weekdays).
4. Costa Coffee – Corniche branch
We really need to do a special feature on this 24 hours branch of Costa Coffee. It has a fantastic open area from where you can watch the Red Arrows Airshow (don’t missa visit to the Msheireb Enrichment Centre). This circular venue has been providing many exhausted walkers and runners on the Corniche with a much needed rest stop and plenty of cups of java and water.
