One of the best things about this time of year is the annual Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF), and its daily fireworks shows!
The vibrant colours and unique sounds of fireworks make such events a great family trip out. QIFF 2018 is on until 25th March, and the daily fireworks are scheduled for 8:00pm.
Here are our top spots for viewing the QIFF fireworks!
Best Spots to View QIFF Fireworks
Hotel Park
Of course the venue of QIFF is a great spot to watch the fireworks from. If you’re visiting the festival be sure to check out our foodie features, including the one about the food booths.
TIP: Grab some food from your booths of choice, and go to the hills for a picnic. Head there before 8:00pm to get a good spot to watch the show!
Sheraton Grand
Sheraton Grand hotel has some of the best spots from where you can watch the fireworks show. The terrace at their Italian restaurant, La Veranda, has ground level views of the fireworks. But the best spot is from their Middle Eastern restaurant, Em Sherif, located on the top floor of the hotel.
TIP: Book your table early and ask for a table facing the water.

Four Seasons Doha
Four Seasons has some amazing outdoor spots from where you can enjoy your evening, and be able to enjoy the fireworks show. On Thursdays their outdoors beach plays host to Barefoot Thursdays, while their outdoors lounge, The Pier, has the best chilling spots for a view of the fireworks.

For a city-wode fireworks view head to the Shanghai Club at Shangri-La Doha. It has 360 degrees view of Westbay and the Arabian Gulf.
