Crowne Plaza Doha will be showcasing the food and style of Celebrity Chef Ian Kittichai, a master in the art of Thai cuisine, to bring a taste of the Far East to Qatar. This special food event is a part of the international IHG Culinary Journey. Seven celebrated international chefs have been appointed IHG Culinary Ambassadors to develop a repertoire of unique signature dishes for guests dining in IHG hotels across the Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) Region.
Chef Ian began life as a Chef almost accidentally when he was working part-time at a 5 star Hotel in London – it was here that he realised his passion for cooking and love of fresh ingredients. With successful restaurants in New York, Barcelona and his home town, Bangkok, he has become a leading figure in Thai cuisine. In 2012 he became a permanenet Iron Chef on Iron Chef Thailand and has become know for his trademark red shoes.
From September 14 to September 27 guests can expect to taste appetizing dishes from Chef Ian as part of the 3rd leg of the IHG Culinary Journey. Crowne Plaza Doha The Business Park has introduced an exciting selection of new recipes to its menu at Aramede Restaurant – the Hotel’s all-day dining venue.
Executive Chef Dominique Morin and his team at Aramede will re-create Chef Ian’s dishes including Tom Yum Soup, Deep Fried Seabass, Crispy Cornflakes-Crusted Fish Dumplings, and Grilled Lamb with Thai Basil.
Aramede is open daily from 6.00am to midnight.
