Crowne Plaza Doha is serving up Modern Chinese dishes in the next stop on its Culinary Journey. IHG’s featured Culinary Ambassador will be Chef Sam Leong who has devised a menu showcasing a selection of his award-winning Chinese cuisine.
Celebrity Chef Sam Leong’s culinary journey began in the kitchen with his father who taught him Cantonese cuisine. Throughout his 26 year culinary career he has gained huge praise from his peers and won several culinary awards, including the James Beard Foundation Award in 1999.
He opened his first restaurant, Forest, to showcase his unique take on Chinese cuisine with a Singaporean twist. He has also had a succesful TV career on the Chinese Cooking programme King of the Kitchens, and has also acted as a popular TV Chef-Mentor.
Crowne Plaza Doha The Business Park‘s Executive Chef Dominique Morin and his culinary team will re-create Chef Sam’s dishes including Tempura Lychee Stuffed with Crab Meat and Crispy Sea Bass with home-made superior light soy sauce.
Diners will also be able to order Chef Leong’s signature dish, Wasabi Prawn, which highlights the crispy deliciousness of deep fried food.
From September 28 until 11th October 2015 guests can expect to taste appetizing dishes from Chef Sam Leong as part of the 4th leg of the IHG Culinary Journey. You can try his signature dishes at Crowne Plaza Doha’s Aramede Restaurant .
