Yes – we couldn’t resist playing with puns as we await the opening of Eggspecation Doha at The Pearl-Qatar. This all-day breakfast is perfectly situated in Medina Centrale and we foresee it playing host to a variety of groups from foodies to families. UPDATE – Eggspectation is now open and ready for egg-service!
Created in Canada over 20 years ago, the brand has already made its way to the UAE with a popular franchise located in Dubai. In fact many of Qatar’s expats who are acquainted with the Dubai restaurant scene are waiting with anticipation for Eggspecation Doha to open its doors.
The Eggspectation brand calls their concept ‘le cirque des œufs’ for an all-day culinary experience. It is a unique concept of focusing on Eggs to create old favourites and new Eggspectation signature items. But don’t be fooled into thinking it is all about the Eggs, as there are a variety of dining items on the menu to appease all tastes.
Eggspectation Doha – What To Expect
The Eggspectation Doha Menu is now available and is reproduced below as an indication of what to expect from Eggspectation Doha.
An Eggspectation menu is Eggstensive(!) with Crepes, Omelettes, Sandwiches, Salads and Pasta. There is also Steak, Chicken, Seafood. Whilst fresh juices and the usual hot beverages are also available.
The Eggspectation Menu showcases a range of interesting dishes including Filet Mignon, Eggs Benedict, and Flatbreads. The Lyonnaise-potaties and Mac-N-Cheese particuarly stand out, whilst we have an eye out for the sweet menu items such as the French Toast and Blueberry Pancakes.
The opening date has not yet been confirmed for the Doha branch, but we just couldn’t help making a gallery ‘wish-list’ of menu items that have our tastebuds tingling.
