‘Made At Home’ is the latest Qatar exhibition that celebrates the home-based entrepreneur.
The five-day expo showcases over 144 local home businesses with a wide range of domestically-produced items, including homespun textiles, home-baked food items, handcrafted jewellery and other handicrafts.
Qatar Development Bank has offered Qatari home entrepreneurs the opportunity to display and sell their local products and create new marketing and retail opportunities.
It will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) from 1st to the 5th October 2017, 10:00am until 10:00pm. UPDATE – Due to popular demand the exhibition has been extended until 7th October!
It has been designed to highlight homemade products and support individuals with home-based businesses. Such businesses usually need a helping hand to bring their brand to a bigger platform.
The event is also an excellent opportunity for members of the public to learn about such businesses and see what Made in Qatar products are on offer.
There are stands showcasing Technology, Fashion, Crafts, and Food & Beverages. Food stalls will be offering desserts and snacks as well as food products. All products are locally-produced and range from clothing and abayas to decorative items and tourist souvenirs.
It’s the perfect place to buy unusual and interesting gifts while supporting small business owners.
