It’s arguably the most popular part of the Pearl with visitors drawn to its beautiful fountains and Mediterranean plaza vibes. It provides a family-friendly day out, and has plenty of dine-in restaurants, and takeaway food carts.

We’ve been expecting something exciting with this new take on Indian street food. Diners have been promised a journey through the flavours of India – and that includes spice! The interiors will reflect the street art of the subcontinent for a relaxed dining experience.

Think traditional Qatari architecture fused with a modern approach to design. With the cooler evenings the outside terrace will be an attractive spot for those of you looking to catch up with family and friends.

Sawani Alaker

Yes this is the restaurant version of the popular Al Aker Sweets; their first restaurant opened earlier in the year in Salwa Road.

They have plenty of grilled meats on the menu – think Turkish. Their Pearl Qatar branch has an interior that is all business until you look up at the beautiful chandelier light features. Residents and visitors are in for a treat – save room for desserts!

Turquoise Cafe

Bright and welcoming cafe with plenty of Mediterranean flair; bold seating and colourful ceramics grace the walls. Some decent menu options to be enjoyed, and a gallery of items to purchase as gifts for loved ones or for yourself!

Al-Majles Diyafa Restaurant

The latest Medina Centrale opening features Qatari cuisine in a homage to the flavours and colours of Qatar. The best thing is that they offer their own version of Afternoon Tea with Fwala menu options – as featured in our Quirky Afternoon Teas article!
