There’s something a little special about Al Manchab which presents itself as a Modern-Qatari restaurant. Located in Doha’s most extravagant Mall the menu is designed to appeal to diners looking for traditional flavours with a modern interpretation.

With so few greek restaurants in Qatar the opening of Grk Fresh Greek brings more meatballs, souvlaki, and gyros to the Doha food scene. There is plenty to get your teeth stuck into at reasonable prices.

800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria
For a thin and chewy base this pizzeria has the right recipe for the traditionalists amongst us (there is a thin base available at extra costs). There are some delicious starters such as the Carpaccio and the Burrata but watch out for the slightly high prices. If you follow a gluten-free diet than you can make your perfect pizza here.

When visiting this cafe you will be surprised by the colourful salad bar and tempting dessert display. Their speciality is Eastern European cuisine, and though prices are high (they charge for bread) it is a great place for a catch up as the balmy evenings arrive.
With a focus on using natural and fresh ingredients the brand emphasis is on flavour and visuals.

Life With Cacao
This dessert restaurant is already a hugely popular venue in Kuwait where they produce signature chocolate desserts made with high-quality ingredients. And should you be able to take your eyes off their signature specials, they also offer breakfast, salads and sandwiches.
Their icecream popsicle fondue makes all other fondues pale in comparison. But it’s all about the S’Mores fondue for those of you who don’t mind a little bit of dessert DIY. Return visits are recommended especially if you like the look of the hot brownie skillet!

Five Guys
An opening that’s been eagerly anticipated by burger lovers across Qatar. Offering beef burgers with your choice of toppings, and hotdogs. They also have some vegetarian sandwiches. Their fries are cooked in peanut oil so avoid if you have a nut allergy. Their creamy milkshakes are perfect for sharing.

Market Cafe
An innovative new cafe located opposite city centre mall – it’s a little tricky to find but well worth the effort if you like tasting home-cooked food items and baked goods. The cafe rents out fridge and shelve units to individuals who want to sell their products in the cafe.
The cafe also sells coffee beverages including spanish latte and frappucinos. It’s your choice if you want to eat in or takeaway the items.

Yaaasss – another quiet new opening but one we have had our eye on for a while. Although LPQ’s first restaurant has been open at the food court in Mall of Qatar for a few months, we prefer this location for its quieter setting.
