Poption Options is a homegrown Qatari brand whose story began in 2012 with gourmet popcorn products. They use mushroom corn kernels which have a compact and round shape. This provides a larger surface area for their seasoning mixes to adhere to thus making the end product a high quality popcorn.

The popcorn flavours are made using premium products, which includes Belgian chocolate and fresh ingredients. Whole nuts and biscuits are also used rather than cheaper powdered versions. Two of the standout savoury popcorn flavours include Parmesan and Spanish Tomato.

The gourmet popcorn is available to purchase for eating or for gifting purposes. Popcorn gifts are presented in tins and can be made up for special occasions, with a choice of 1 to 4 flavours to choose from per tin. Popcorn flavours include BBQ, Carmelo, and Jalapeño Cheese. Apparently the R&D team at Poption Options are keen to experiment with new ideas, which has led to the release of their innovative Lacey Kek – an unusual dessert whose method of preparation is a closely guarded secret.

The Lacey Kek is one of those desserts that will mistake you into thinking that it is only ordered for the insta-shot. However the dessert is surprisingly good – crispy with a unique moreish texture. It’s available in chocolate and saffron – we recommend the chocolate version.
