Five Guys Opens in Doha

Five Guys is the newest eatery at Doha Festival City, one of the largest leisure and retail developments in the Gulf. The highly anticipated burger joint has opened directly opposite Vox Cinemas.

Five Guys is all about American diner burgers – expect big queues in the first few weeks as Doha’s foodies head out to investigate and devour.

Who are Five Guys?

The Five Guys brand was founded in 1986 in Washington DC by Jerry and Janie Murrell. Its popularity is credited to its focus on providing high quality food and great service in a clean no-frills atmosphere.

It is one of America’s fastest-growing restaurant chain and boasts 1,500 locations across North America, the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

Five Guys prides itself on customisation, with apparently 250,000 possible ways for customers to have their order served. Their fries are double-fried in pure peanut oil (please avoid if you have a nut allergy!) For the full menu with prices look below.

At Doha Festival City both the North and South Food Courts are now open – although there are a few anticipated restaurants yet to open such as Jamie’s Italian, Cheesecake Factory, Katsuya, and Laduree Cafe.

Upon completion, there will be over 100 places to dine and relax including restaurants, cafés and casual dining outlets. Further entertainment zones are expected to open later this year.
