Balmesan is named after a location in Old Doha, and it was the owner’s intention to bring an element of Qatar into the concept. As such the menu has its own versions of popular regional dishes such as mambos and saadiya.
The menu is seafood-heavy but there are also non-seafood options such as chicken and beef. There is a fresh fish market with the catch of the day and specials, which include crabs, tiger prawns and lobster.
