It’s time for restaurant awards season as two of Doha’s local magazines carry out their search for the best dining spots in town. Tonight is the much anticipated yearly Time Out Doha Awards 2015. Whilst FACT Qatar had their inaugral ceremony recently with over 150 nominated restaurants – you can see all the winners here.
Here is a round-up of Time Out’s nominations – their awards ceremony will be held tonight at the Grand Hyatt, where the winners will be revealed.
Time Out Award Criteria:
The nominations are decided by Time Out’s crew of anonymous reviewers.
The nominated restaurant has to have been open for at least 6 months, and so you may find newer establishments have been left out – potentially to be considered the following year.
However, in the Newcomer category the nominated eateries only need to have been open for 3 months.
There are 20 categories, mostly populated by the usual big hitters – however there are some nice surprises in there.
