So get ready for a British (and non-British style) smorgasbord of Battered Fish Fillets and Chunky Fries with a varied assortment of sides, sauces and vinegar! If you were looking for a grease-free weekend we say proceed with caution!
Where to find British Fish and Chips in Doha
Harry Ramsden’s Qatar, The Pearl-Qatar
The newest addition to Doha’s Fish & Chips scene and yet it has captured the interest of many residents, particularly those who know and love this British brand. Taglined as ‘World Famous Fish and Chips’ normally one could argue for other chip shops (we all have a favourite!) – but in Doha’s limited chippy market we see a great future ahead for the brand. Fresh from a meal there last night (expect a review very soon) Miss QE recommends the place as having ‘proper British fish and chips with the right ‘brand’ of sauces’. Family-friendly restaurant with lots of non-fish mains, and desserts.

The Chippy, Bin Omran
Offering good old British chip shop grub including Cod and Chips, Pie and Chips and Chip Butties! They also offer a choice of fish types including Cod and Hammour. Although this eatery has a few seats inside, it is mainly a takeaway service. They also offer delivery dependant on location and minimum order of QR 50 with a QR 5 charge (but don’t forget you lose the crispiness of any batter after a prolonged time period). And for those of you really looking for fried craziness they offer the famous Battered Mars Bar!
